  1. Dune II StrongARM upgrade BETA

  3. This will upgrade your CD-ROM version of Dune II to StrongARM compatibility.
  4. You will still need your original CD-ROM in the drive while playing the game.

  6. There are two versions here - the copy where you play the game on your CD-ROM
  7. drive (OnCD) and the copy where you play the game on your hard disc (OnHD).
  8.  
  9. The OnCD version should be copied to your hard disc, and run from there,
  10. instead of the CD copy. Simply drag the !Dune_II application from inside the
  11. OnCD directory to a spare place on your hard disc.

  13. The OnHD version should be copied over the version on your hard disc, and run
  14. there. Simply drag the !Dune_II application into the same directory as the
  15. !DUNE_II application on your hard disc.

  17. If you want to play the game from your hard disc, simply copy the !DUNE_II
  18. application from the CD-ROM onto your hard disc, and then over-copy the
  19. contents of the OnHD directory onto the !DUNE_II application on your hard
  20. disc.

  24. This version of Dune II does not play the intro, but it does include the
  25. 16-bit sound fix.
